Slow-braised tender beef brisket served over egg noodles in a rich, aromatic broth. A hearty HK lunch favourite.

Cut beef brisket into 4cm chunks. Blanch in boiling water for 5 minutes, drain and rinse.

Braise brisket with star anise, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and rock sugar for 1.5-2 hours until tender.

Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and place in serving bowls.

Ladle beef brisket and braising broth over the noodles. Garnish with spring onion and chilli oil.
