Cook sago pearls in boiling water for 15 minutes until translucent. Drain and rinse with cold water.

Heat coconut milk with sugar in a saucepan until sugar dissolves. Let cool.

Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve chilled in bowls. Optionally top with fresh fruit or grass jelly.
